Shakespeare 8' Bamboo Fly Rod, 3/2, 5 wt.
This very nice three-piece Shakespeare rod is a light action 5 wt. It has a downlocking reel seat and two tips, one with an agatine tiptop as is the stripper guide. The bamboo is nicely flamed with pretty black wrappings with gold accents. The 6” cork handle still has that velvety feel. Lightly used, it is in very good condition save a little bag rash on one tip which could easily be polished out. The ferrules are good with no clicking. The 8’ 5 wt. is a good goto rod for small streams when you still want to be able to cast weighted nymphs.
