This beautiful little rod shows almost no signs of use! 8’ long and weighing just 4 1/8 oz., it was made by Leonard for the William Mills & Sons Co. William Mills & Sons was a prominent tackle purveyor from the late 1800s until sometime in the 1930's when it purchased a controlling interest in Leonard. The fit, finish, and varnish of this gorgeous rod are perfect!  It has a full flexing action, right down to the handle, and casts either a 5 wt. or 6 wt. line like a dream.  The trademark downlocking butternut reel seat is unmarred, and it carries a strong Mills stamp. It is beautifully wrapped in black and gold and comes with the original tube, bag, and hang tag.  You don’t find them in this condition very often and this one will not disappoint!
